This is my shop in all of its cramped glory. CNC takes up a bunch of room, but I'm still able to knock out a decent amount of projects from here. Lucky enough to have it though, but hopefully I'll be moving into a larger commercial space within a year or two. But until then, this fits the bill!

Day 1: About me - Little bit about me for those who don't know. My name's Chris. That's the best boy in the world Remi. I'm born and raised in the sometimes great state of NJ. Professionally trained as a Diesel Technician, but have been doing woodworking since I was able to hold hammer with my dad. I own my business, but building smokers is just a side business for me as of right now (really want to change that, hopefully in the near-ish future). Been a maker my whole life, was always better at taking things apart then I was at reassembling them (lost a computer and a few VCRs that way). The plan is to eventually go full time with smokers/fabrication, but don't want to jump that ship too early.

Was MIA last week off social because I was down in Atlantic City having an absolute blast with some of my best friends for my bachelor party. One of the highlights was doing a tour and tasting with the amazing crew over at @littlewaterdistillery in Atlantic City right down from the boardwalk. Next time you're in the area, it's worth the trip. After trying all their spirits, I can honestly say I'm really excited to see what comes out of this place.
When something doesn't wanna cooperate.. you may need to break out the torch, the porta power.. or a simple little dog and wedge may just do the trick. This is a good solution for me to get my hinges where I wanted them, and once I finish cut the door and I straighten everything out they should line up with only a bit of massaging.
